Got a question about volunteering with Josh?
Keen to volunteer with Josh, but you’ve got a few questions first? No worries, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about campaigning with the SDF MP.
I’m a bit nervous – what can I expect as a volunteer?
First of all, we promise to give you a warm welcome to Josh’s team. You’ll be making a difference in nation building, teaming up with like-minded young people who will answer all your questions; people who look like you, understand you and care about the future of our country. People who understand that politics is everybody’s business, not just that of a minority or an elite.
It’s also a great way to meet friendly people, and campaigns are often followed by an outing to a café or bar.
I’ve signed up to volunteer – what happens next?
There are many ways to help, from implementing communication, internet, word of mouth, calls, to scrutineers at a polling station. If you have already signed up as a volunteer, great – just show up.
If you have given us your phone number, we will call you very soon. If you haven’t already and want to know what’s happening near you, you can also find the nearest campaign event on our platform.

Are there other ways to help out?
If you’re not sure whether communicating with strangers is for you, we encourage you to at least give it a try – there’s never been a more important or exciting time to try!
But there are plenty of other ways to help, too. Whether you’re super-organized, an excellent communicator or know your area like the back of your hand, there will be a job for you! Our campaign teams will need helping hand to implements the actions, watching over polling stations on election day and much more.
